I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University.
Before moving into psychotherapy, I spent fifteen years working directly with children, youth, and families, including years as a behaviour therapist supporting kids with Autism, Down syndrome, and Fragile X.
I work with individuals, couples, families, and children and youth. My practice draws on CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and Internal Family Systems. I have experience supporting youth with co-occurring substance use, and I work from a harm reduction and trauma-responsive stance.
I’m ASIST trained and fluent in Tamil, so I can offer sessions in Tamil for clients who would prefer not to work through an interpreter.
My sessions are practical and collaborative. I’ll ask questions, check that we’re going somewhere useful to you, and change direction if we’re not.
